I hooked up an amp and speaker box to my system. But when I started the car I get this buzzing and as I hit the gas pedal it gets worse. What is this all about and how to I get rid of it?
Any help would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

The buzzing you hear is the alternator coming through your speakers. This is usually due to the power wire being ran next to the speaker and RCA wires. The power wire is letting some feedback get into your speaker and RCA wires which causes the buzzing sound in your speakers. You are going to need to rerun your wires and the best way to do it is run the power wire down one side of the car and all other wires down the other side of the car. Whatever you do try to not ever cross these wires and keep them as far away from each other as possible. You can also try a filter that wires in behind the cd player, but these do not always work well and are just masking the real problem.

Thanks.
That must be it, because I did run all the wires down the same side of the car.
Does it mather about the remote wire running with the RCA wires?
Thanks a ton, I can't wait till I feel good enough to change the wires over!

Try grounding all stereo equipment to one point. Same with 12V+.

ya, I would check all of your ground points and put them into one GOOD point if possible and you may want to try either the filter that wires into the back of the radio or posibbly upgrading your wires (not sure how good the quality of the ones you bought are or the gauge of the wires).

Thanks, I bought the ground eliminator plug in from Wal Mart for $20.00 and now no more buzzing.
