Rack & Pinion for 82 F-body

:D Don't know, can a rack&pinion be done on an 82 and what is needed? :cool:

:confused: What no replies? I am trying to make this 3900 pound/with driver, 9.5 compression, carburated 502 cu. in. oval port heads street car with 3.70 gears that ran 10.49 @ 129.83 in Drive about a month ago a little lighter. :eek:

It is doable, it would be easiest with a tubular k-member, and a rack(I am planning on using a 4th gen rack, from a 95 camaro)

then you only need rack mounts and a modified steering shaft, no need to notch the stock k-member
