Corvette C6 video reviewtrev0006 08-01-2004, 10:13 PM http://www.sleepy-fish.com/sleepy/Top_Gear_Corvette_lo.wmv Antz97ZNJ 08-01-2004, 10:55 PM That guy needs to put the crackpipe down Jcb890 08-02-2004, 12:11 AM that other taller guy is so much cooler than that guy, he annoys me. nuke61 08-02-2004, 12:36 AM Clarkson is a crackup... Vietnamese suspension   But it works :) Not too far behind the 250K Gallardo. But that Evo is even more of a "bang for the buck" car. KamaroL98 08-02-2004, 12:37 AM lol NightWindDriftr 08-02-2004, 02:41 AM interesting commentary on the car. I must say, that's one of the sexiest American cars I've ever seen. very nice! Antz97ZNJ 08-02-2004, 06:48 PM Just watched that again that guys a real a$$hole, that doesnt have a clue about american vehicles, a vette can't handle lol ok.. and tell me how a nsx and a 350 hp tvr pulls a 400 hp c6 ....funny how he was proved wrong when it almost ran identical times as a evo. No idea how the NSX did it, but the TVR has 350hp and weighs 2200 (give or take 100 or so) lbs. stereomandan 08-03-2004, 10:55 AM It was so obvious that they were just sticking up for their European sports cars. It's like they looked for things that you could do with the C6 to make it look bad. Instead of focusing on how it can spank most of their cars in a straight line, and on the track, and cost much less $$$. Dan Terran2k 08-03-2004, 03:19 PM Why they still refer to the USA as "the colonies"? We're not a colony, just the last superpower on earth, they seem to forget that. in alot of the reviews from europe they always put us down in someway. Anyway, that was a crappy review of of the C6. he's a bum. Because my girlfriend could have shifted better than that dweeb. It looked like it took him all his power to shift that thing into gear. And it took him forever to shift. Plus as much as he was putting that car down verbally im sure he wasnt giving it all it had. Capn Pete 08-06-2004, 12:20 AM I've got British heritage in me, but I have to say, I hate the British sometimes:rolleyes:. That was the most biassed review evar!:irk: Sorry the tranny isn't quite as silky smooth as a Porsche, since it's only designed to handle the torque of not only LT1's, LS1's and LS6's over the years, but now the LS2, and the VIPER as well for all these years!?:p Let's see how a Porsche tranny would stand up? Until I see one of them take the same abuse as a ~400+ ft.lb. V8, or the ~500 ft.lb. V10, I say they're comparing apples and oranges. Oh, and put me in the driver's seat of a Chevette against that guy in the C6, and I'd probably smoke him!:D Where's Steve Baur (of GM High-Tech Performance magazine, who was able to run a bone-stock '04 Z06 to an amazing 11.97 @ 118.80) when you need him? Put a real driver in the C6 and I'm sure it would have out-run all those other cars:cool:. | ||
