ran a friend of mine today on the way out to the beach today. he's got an 02 SS with a lid, filter, ram air, longtubes, y-pipe, open borla and an A4 with the same converter i have....the only differences (as far as running from a roll) are that the gearing is a touch different (my 3.42 vs. his 3.23) and i have an ASP pulley...in short the cars are VERY similar
from 70-120 mph i was able to pull an immediate fender on him and than ran out another half car to finish out with almost a full car on him. we went at it again and the result was the same.
this isn't a real exciting kill but it was fun to race basically door-to-door with another pretty fast car for once....especially after the incident with that high 14 second thirdgen that came up to me talking smack....(see my other recent thread here) :D
