what do u guys think of this trade...

i found a 93 z71 xcab for sale for $5k, it has a 4 in suspension lift and a 3 in body, 35in tires, engine work and exahust work that i dont know the details about, he said he'd trade me for my 94 z28 ttops auto 113k very clean, one small dent, but his truck has 244k :eek: but he said he rebuild the engine and trans and replaced the gears w 411's at 180k, its a bluish purplish color,hte paint is new on it, but the door jams and the bed werent done, it needs some things, the parking break cable is broke, its a standard, theres a smll hole underneath the passenger side handle from where someone tried to break in , limo tint all the way around, it looks very clean but could also use somework, he said he'd give me his z71 + a whopping $100 lol, it looks sweet tho, just the miles are very scary ha, what do u guys think, should i do it?

one more thing that makes me not want to do it is that the it will be impossible to try to sell this thing after 5-6 months u know, itll have like 250-255k, who would want to buy that u know,

I'd keep the Z28. Unless for some reason you want a Z71 with a lot of problems (probably more than he's leading on to).

Why is it you want a truck? (Not downtalking, just curious).

Maybe look around for one closer to stock. You could find the same truck without all the add-ons but with lower miles for probably the same price.

ya i wasnt lookin for a truck, i was looking for a newer 6spd z28, but i saw it, and it looks sweet as hell, and he said he'd be willin to trade, so i started thinking about it just bc the market for our cars are horrible now, but ya ur right, it would have alot of problems
