i'm trying to pass smog and good lord this is a pain... especially for a mostly stock car it shouldnt be such a pain. I'm going to just go ahead and try to put the pump back on. i have the pump but not the tubing.. anyone have the pump tubing laying around they would let me borrow? i'll give you collatoral! or if you really want, you can sell it to me.

Do they have a visual inspection in your area? Reason I ask is because the AIR pump only operates about 3 min. after cold start up. It wouldn't affect your emission readings after the car is at operating temp.

yeah there is visual in my area.. i can find a shop that will probably not mind but there will still be a CE light though which is why i will fail. that is why i need the tubing.

I have pump tubing but when I went over the valve cover wires I had to reroute so I went to kragen and bought some 5/8"(I think) rubber hose and cut them to fit. Seems to be working.

 

Good luck with your hose search but this would be better placed in the WTB and/or your regional forum. I'll move it there for ya!
