uploading tune problems...

I have a madz28 tune and akm cable and when i run the program it says incorrect respone.. i know my cable is working because if i unplug it from the car and run the program it says cable is unplugged.. any ideas..any one in cali wanna help me out? THANKS

Try using a different computer to upload the program. I have run into that same problem before where some computers just wont get the job done while others work flawlessly. I find desktops are more consistent and less problematic then laptops too.

Some other things you can try if you are desperate that MIGHT work are to unplug the PCM fuse to clear the PCM after each attempt.

i tried too computers already.. but i also tried unpluging the negitive battery cable also.. same as plugin fuse? this sucks

What OS are you using? Also are you using the DOS or the windows version to upload the program?

DOS.. and windows xp

i ran the hypertermial test and the ALDL test and myseril port is working properly.. so i dunno.. where is the pcm fuse? how long to leave it unpluged? thanksadam

I did the aldl port tester thing with it unpluged from the car and it passes but when it is connected to the car it does not pass... anyreason? ive tryed different computers also...any help is appericated
