Clutch pedal on floor and wont go in gear, help

Oh, this really sucks. I was getting ready to go to work this morning and I push the clutch in and it goes all the way to the floor. That has happened before but it comes back up. This time it did not. The car stalled out for a second. I restarted it and it is in neutral and will not go into any gear. Luckily this happened right in front of my house and not in traffic. Does anyone have any idea what just happened? ALso I am going to have to get it towed to a transmission place instead of a dealer. It has 61,000 miles by the way.

Thanks: Steve

Re: Clutch pedal on floor and wont go in gear, help

Ok, now I tried it again and I pumped the clutch a few times and it now has come off the floor. Also the shifter went into gear fine before I started it. After I started it the shifter was balky and didn't want to go in gear. It now goes in gear fine. It has been hard to shift lately as it is. Now I am scared to drive it to the transmission place but don't really wanna get it towed. Am I looking at replacing the 2000 hydraulics with the newer 2001-2002 pieces?
