programmed pcm learning curve

i was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes a pcm to learn the wot afr? i was told that it takes some driving around for it to learn the proper ratio.i am wondering because i just put my tuned pcm from madwolf in last night and took her for a spin today. it seems that i have lost some pull on the bottom end, but it pulls like an ape on the upper rpms. with the stock pcm, when i stabbed it from 10-15 mph or so, it used to break the rear free. today when driving around from the same roll, it would break free but i think it did on the upper rpms before the shift (hard to tell with the engine screaming). this was done after driving around for about an hour w/no wot before i floored it. any ideas?

The PCM doesn't "learn" WOT A/F ratio. It calculates the "target" A/F ratio from the PE tables. There is no feedback to the PCM as to whether it is actually achieving the "target" ratio.

There are very few things the PCM "learns"..... long term fuel corrections being the most signficant. This can affect WOT A/F ratio, IF the programming is lean and the PCM has to "add" fuel in closed loop. But if the programming was done correctly, the BLM's in the upper cells, e.g. 14 and 15, should be very close to 128, and should not affect WOT A/F ratio.
