The interior of my ss is flawless, save a wear mark on the driver's side left side seat side bolster. Is there some kind of dye I can get to get it black again? Or should I leave it to the pros?

Leather seat wear mark...what can I do?Johnny I 07-28-2004, 03:07 PM The interior of my ss is flawless, save a wear mark on the driver's side left side seat side bolster. I have the same problem with my driver's seat, and I think at some point, I'm going to have "a professional" cover them with a higher grade leather. I think the leather used by GM in the Camaro's leaves alot to be desired. Compstall 07-31-2004, 04:12 AM Leather, or any material for that matter, gets worn right on the bolster of seats like these in any car. The only long-term fix for it is to keep your a$$ off of it when getting in/out of the car. :D Had the same thing happen to me. n2oblkz 07-31-2004, 06:35 AM I have the same problem with my driver's seat. I usually just apply some saddle soap that is used for leather shoes and keep it moist with that. It conditions the leather and keeps it a little darker and makes it harder to see. It doesn't last a long time so you have to keep applying it. It might help, just my .02. GTO2Z28 07-31-2004, 11:41 PM Try leatheriques's website, look at there kit. | ||
