Davenport

I will be passing through, is there a track close to Davenport? My searches on the net are coming up empty...

Codova is as close as you get or Earlville, IA. Both are NHRA sanctioned tracks. Earlville is all cement and about 6 years old. TriState Raceway (http://www.tristateraceway.com/)

Earlville is up by Dubuque, I think it's 45-60 minutes north of Davenport. Directions are on their web site also.

Cordova is actually an IHRA track. It is 25-30min from Davenport. Just follow 84 up the IL side of the river.

Thanks guys, I talked to a guy in a white lt1 car with Tel stars on it,(Todd I think) and he told me where it was. It was a cool trip, but I will have to catch the track next time around, I will probably be moving to the area in another year, so maybe I can meet up with some people....

I'm from the Davenport area, althought I am currently going to school in iowa city. My car probably wont see the road for a couple more weeks though as I have some big plans for spring break. :cool:
