GTI vs CLK convertible

So I was sitting at a light at almost 1 am and a CLK convertible rolls up. I didn't check if it was a 430 or 320 but it looked expensive. Dude had the top down and his girl in the passenger seat. Up ahead it turned into one lane so it was a merge point, and he wanted to get ahead of me. I decided to **** with him a bit. He gunned it at the red and I spun with my lame winter tires, shifted into second low at 4k or so and stayed with him neck and neck. I let off because it was going to turn into an accident if one of us didn't, and he gave me the peace sign out the side window as I pulled up behind him at the next light, whatever that was supposed to mean lol. He was shocked that my dirty VW kept up with his brand new Benzo! :p
