twin turbo or superchargerdino2006 07-26-2004, 05:29 PM I was wondering if you can put a twin turbo on my 97 z28 and if you can which would be better for all around driving a twin turbo or a supercharger and what is a good name and price of each All4Chevy 07-26-2004, 05:33 PM First time i told somebody this, but you will get it from somebody so it might as well be me ;) .....do a search and/or go to the forced induction section. Bill elguapo 07-26-2004, 05:35 PM but before you go to the Forced Induction, how many horses are you trying to get at? Are you driving the car daily? And are you willing to rebuild the bottom end for lower compression? Mindgame 07-26-2004, 05:36 PM I'd prefer a single turbo for ease of installation. Should easily do 800hp to the rear wheels with a 383. In comparison, turbos are more efficient power adders. I suggest lots of research. -Mindgame dino2006 07-26-2004, 05:41 PM this car is more like a weekend cruser and show car i have other cars to drive daily. i tried to find info on turbo but i can't find them anywhere im prolby looking in all the wrong places what would be a good place to look into that at. and thanks for the info elguapo 07-26-2004, 05:43 PM go to the forced induction forum. great stuff dino2006 07-26-2004, 05:44 PM allright thanks agin Mindgame 07-26-2004, 05:54 PM This will provide as good a place to start as any.... http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0837601606/ref=sib_dp_pt/103-0061822-6103825#reader-link -Mindgame Josh-'04 GTO 07-26-2004, 09:40 PM This will provide as good a place to start as any.... http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0837601606/ref=sib_dp_pt/103-0061822-6103825#reader-link -Mindgame Very good suggestion. :) My only beef is that "Maximum Boost" could use an update to reflect turbo progress over the past 5-6 years or so. Other than that, there is a wealth of info. I have their 5.8 / 351W kit for my Mustang. Haven't installed it yet, but my experience with them has been very positive so far.
