dual tips, single tip or NO tips??

well i gotta figure out what i want to do with my exhaust.

right now i have LTs, orp with a bullet on the end, and 3" piping over the axle. i had a magnaflow muffler on it, with dual slash cut tips (see those on my webpage). but 2 weeks ago i had a tip come loose and fall off.

i was running with a single tip for a while, and then i decided to pull the muffler off completely. now the exhaust just ends where it would normally bolt to the muffler
the sound is just plain awesome!! basically a poor mans loudmouth.

now i don't know whether i should figure out a way to run dual tips without installing a muffler
or
extend the pipe and put a single tip on the driver side...kindda like the SLP TOTL

or
leave it as it is, dumping up under the bumper (maybe extend it a bit and put a turn down). i kindda like the look of no tips as well.

what do you guys think??

On a red camaro IMHO I like either no tips or ttol. I never really liked tips on red (w/out gfx) for some reason

i say either no tips with hidden outlet, or BLACK tips(dual).... i sanded and painted my stock tips, and i like it.... flat black.

Like in the other thread we were posting in I would say go back to a single slash cut tip on drivers side. :)

I recently installed magnaflow exhaust with GFX and I wished it came with dual tips instead of single, it looks kinda half empty on each side (cardomain, page 3..at the bottom)....maybe I can figure out how to just change the tips, since the tips goes all the way back to the muffler....but other than that, I am happy with the new exhaust (sound) and I am getting used to the look. Just my opinion.

I have dual/duals...from Fasttoys.

I kinda want to see what some bigger single tips would look like...like on my GF's mustang....3 1/2 tips.

Of course, I'd kill for the triflo tips.

Ive seen a 35th with no tips and a turndown. Definetly liked the look of it. also it looked quite awesome when he'd rev it and dust would fly out from underneath the car

Anything but a single tip out the back. I can't stand TOTL either. :yuck: Unless you do a setup like my Z-28's exhaust, only do dual/dual if you have ground effects.

I have a feeling he might have already taken care of this after 5 years.
