OK, I finally got to do a quick file on Freescan, but I dont know how to read some of it. I need help on the O2's and the IAC looked off to me as well. Just need to see if anything is off at all. This file is just at Idle and then I raised the RPM up to about 2500(my laptop has the funky USB, so I need a adapter before I can do a driving file). Thanks to anyone that can help.

A lot of stuff looks normal.... target RPM, TPS, MAF, advance, no knock retard, MAP, BAR.

Things that look "odd":

-IAC is bottomed out at "0". As a result, your actual idle speed is always above the target by 50-75rpm. No biggie, but I'd try and figure how the air is getting into the intake manifold, since it isn't coming through the IAC passages.

-inlet air temp show major signs of heat soak.... 135degF. That's toasty, and probably results in loss of about 3deg of timing advance.

-Average value of the O2's at idle should be around 450mV. Yours are a little under 400mV in the top 1/2 of the log, and nearer 350mV at the bottom 1/2 of the log. Odd, since the entire log, the PCM is dropping the BLM's in Cell 16 lower and lower, trying to lean it out. A contradiction. The BLM's eventually seem to stabilize at 118 on both sides, about a 7.8% correction (pulling fuel).

I'd go after the IAC issue first. The TPS volts are a tad high at 0.75V...... most scans on stockers are usually around 0.65-0.67V... but the small difference between yours and the "norm" shouldn't make any difference. The engine is getting a little air from somewhere..... small vacuum leak????

You don't learn a whole lot from a scan at idle, but you do have some issues that need to be addressed.

Injuneer, your the man! So, you think its mayve a bad IAC and IAT? By the way wher do you see the IAT temp figures? And when the engine gets hot it does seem to get and iratic idle.

Thanks again,
