It is a "neutral" interior. Here are my results so far. I have been using the Z9, spraying it on, and then using a worn out tooth brush to gently run it in in places, or just wiping it with a finger terry cloth applicator. The problem I am having is that where I spray leaves a lighter place than where I rub it in. When it runs, that place looks the same, much lighter. When I spray it on my bolsters, it almost gets it too clean it seams, seemingly taking some of the color off as the applicator looks tan at times. When using Z10, it does the same, the first place I touch is lighter than the surrounding areas. I let it set for a while, then buffed it out w/ some success, but it looks spotty. I had used a 1 step Meguirs cleaner since I got the car about 10 months ago, but got a ton of dirt off. Same w/ the Z16, a ton of dirt, but I think I am using a TON of product. Some guidance would be appreciated!

I too have the neutral interior, and I also use Zaino's leather cleaner and conditioner. But I haven't had any of the problems you're experiencing, with the exception of the drivers outside bolster appearing worn. (But I think that's more due to wear and not the Zaino.)

The cleaner says to work it in with a terry cloth towel until it forms a "foam", and then wipe it dry with a damp cloth. Without wanting to insult ya', maybe the "spotting" is due to the seats being too dirty? Have you tried using the cleaner a second time before using the conditioner? Also, use the conditioner after the seats have had enough time to thoroughly dry.

I've used Ziano's leather products on alot of cars, and have never had the "spotting" you're talking about

You might try contacting one of the Zaino reps. on the board, or Sal Zaino directly to see whats causing the spotting?
