Rear LT1 and LS1 brakes the same?

I am about to go to LS1's in the front and for that much would just sell teh rears to an LS1 owner, do you think they are any good? are the power slots any stronger?

Well you have 2 questions here, you asked it 93-97 and 98-02 have the same rear brakes. Then are the 98-02 slotted rotors good.

93-97 rear disk are not the same as 98-02. 93-97 use a drum type E-brake in the rotor and also different caliper and mounting brackets. Brakes parts will not interchange. But you can switch out the whole rear system.

The 98-02 slotted rotors are good, the slots help expel gas pressure under hard braking, which will provide more contact between the rotor and pad.
