Well long story short I have to drive my car to work tomarrow and let it bake in the sun for 9 hours,my question is will the sun do any damage if the car sits for 9 hours straight in 90 degree weather? I know im over protective of it just want to be sure. Thanks.

It will be fine...especially a lighter color like teal. Most cars sit outside 24/7. As long as you have a good wax/sealant on it, it will be just fine.

My truck has been parked in the Florida sun for 9 years. Seems to be holding up fine. The endless coats of Zaino might have something to do with it though.

It should be ok as long as you have adequate wax or paint protection. Today's base clear paint formulas are quite durable and forgiving (although quite sensitive to streaks and scratches..go figure).

9 hours? I'd take a car cover. Two of them.

I'm hoping you forgot to mention that there's wax on your car that you don't have time to take off right now, and you're wondering if that will be ok? If so, it will be fine, but it may take a some elbow grease to get it off.

Otherwise I guess you are seriously worried about 9 hours exposure to the sun.

My cars have hardly ever NOT been exposed to the sun. As in all hours of daylight, 365 days a year (don't have a space in the garage yet) and I haven't had a problem yet. Just use a good UV-protectant wax and your car will never know the difference for years to come.
