went to the track friday night and got owned a few times. Twice by a sleeper Eagle talon TSI, and once by an '02 SS with 4.10's and drag radials. The talon really whooped up on me 14.1 at 98mph(me) 11.8 at 114mph(him). The guy had stock wheels, had the stock muffler hanging on there and a big dent in his front fender. The guy in the SS wasn't running that good 13.6. I did stomp a guy that thought his new 6-speed accord was bad ass. He ran like a 15.4
Here comes more mods! hopefully, hotcam and mac mids. That should get me down there pretty good.
Oh i forgot, the talon ran a 12.7 the first time without nitrous

Something tells me that guy with the SS will be investing in a 12 bolt rear sometime soon :D

Yeah i know, going down the highway i'm at 2500rpms at 70mph. Wonder what he is. I would never get 4.10's in an A4. Said his best was a 13.2 with exhaust and gears and DR's.

get some Long Tubes and a stall converter and you'll be running pretty stout

Yeah, I'm thinking pretty hard about some pacesetter lt's or some Mac mids. I don't know about a stall because i drive this car probably 4 days of the week. How's the driveability of a stall? And wouldn't that just make me spin more if i don't get DR's?

I don't have a stall but I have heard that the driveability of a stall is hardly different because you just have to give the car a little more gas off the line. With a stall, headers, and DR's your car should be pretty mean.

Go for the long tubes...drivability will be fine w/ the converter...I wouldnt go any lower then a 3000... dr's will be a must also

It's the Marion County Int. Raceway www.mcir.com It's the only track i've ever been too. I always here guys talking about how they do better at other tracks. I'm going to xenia next time. Maybe Norwalk, but that's over an hour away. About the stall, I've never ridden in a car with one but i have a hard time believing a 2800 or 3000 stall won't effect driveability. I would think the tires would spin every time i took off.

The converter is fine, I have a 3000 stall with a 2.5 multiplier. Not really that much different from stock other than the r's are a bit higher when leaving a light but not that bad. It's a GREAT investment, highly recommended.

If you go to Norwalk, be prepared to see a lot of sleeper Talons :)
Besides, it's a very nice facility and a great place to race.
