Im going to race a viper!!

Its going to be my cousins, 93 red RT10. Hes selling it soon and wants to take it out one last time so I can race him and so he can beat the **** out of it before he sells it.

Im GOING to get video once it goes down. Im just going to need somewhere to host it.

Ill keep you guys updated.

If its going to be anything like when I raced his C5 Im going to be one proud Z28 owner. :cool:

First, good luck against the viper. Second, your cousin sounds like he's loaded. Third, what's he selling the Viper for? I heard you can pick up the 93-94 for 35k or less now??

Well where its a one time race brother. I have alot of plug-in, bolt on, tire on stuff that might help. I raced a totally stock Viper GTS at ATCO NJ and he pulled a 1.73 60' on street tires and ended up going 11.97@117 against my wimpy 12.4x time.. If he can't get it out of the hole you just might win. I did have the Viper beat until the 1000' mark but they come quick. If you need parts for a night just give me a call. Im at 718-727-4175

Phil, yeah his dad is the General Manager of both Saturn Dealers in buffalo, hes the head manager at the Orchard Park one. Nice getting a job like that from dad huh? He also has a stock Z28 and explorer and a 67 camaro thats totally restored. He gets all those cars DIRT cheap at auctions, keeps them for a year and makes a profit off of them.

I think he is selling it for 35K or so, If Im not mistaken he bought it for 32K at a viper auction down south.

Ive read the early versions run high 12's low 13's around 110-112 mph or so. Hes a decent driver so it should be interesting, gonna come down to traction.
