What are the size differences between 94 Salad Shooters and 97 Z28 rims?

they are both the same size, just diffrent styles

where can I confirm this?

All the V8 wheels, other than WS6 and SS wheels are 16x8" with a 55mm offset. The WS6 and SS wheels are 17x9" with a 55mm offset. They all have the same 5 x 4.75" (120.65mm) bolt pattern. Not all wheels have the same inside diameter for the portion of the wheel that slips over the axle "hub". Up to approx 1996, the rear hubs are approx. 0.03" larger than the front hubs, so the wheels match the larger rear hubs. From approx 1997 and newer, all hubs are the same, front and rear, so all the wheels match the smaller diameter of the pre-1996 cars, requiring the inside diameter of the 1997 and newer wheels to be sanded lightly to fit over the 1996 and earlier rear hubs.
