Pro 5.0 with LSS problems...

Okay, so I'm following the install- easy as hell. But, as I'm putting my interior back together, I realize it's too far to the left, the shifter is rubbing against the center bezel! I strip off the shift boot to find that the base is angled toward the driver's side. LS1's are not like this...
I installed the LSS on the driver's side like it said to.

Is there any other V6 with this problem?
Would it hurt to install LSS on the passenger side (assuming that's enough room to get rid of the rubbing)?

i think u answered ur own question, slap the LSS on the other side, i think i've heard the same problem before

Cool, I'll give it a try. I didn't think it would make any difference (functionally) but it specified to put it on the DS so I wanted to make sure. Thanks.
