Question to ZDriver96 about LS1 front brake conversion

ZDriver96, in an earlier post, you mentioned

"You dont need LS1 spindles to make LS1 brakes work.. just cut the ears off the LT1's"

Just wondering, have you done this yourself on your car, or did you hear this from someone else?
