Brent94Z 07-20-2004, 10:26 PM Don't forget, this is the Appearance forum for appearance related modifications. There is a separate forum for waxing and cleaning ;) gav'spurplez 07-21-2004, 12:12 AM remember that you want to polish the paint. waxing with add some gloss and shine but polsihing the paint is what brings back/out the color. do not forget to clay it either. paint prep is # 1  Cmr0z28 07-21-2004, 03:15 PM Gav is right. Wash, Clay, Polish, Seal/wax is the proper procedure. Anyways, I'd go with S100 paste wax from a local Harley Davidson shop, or if you can't find that, get NXT. If mail order is an option, get Meguiar's #16 from www.autopia-carcare.com - #16 looks similar but is more durable, but S100 is the easiest wax to apply/remove, so it's a trade off (S100 also does not haze, dust, or stain trim). *EDIT* - Look up a local detailer's supply. Anywhere that carries Meguiar's professional line of products should stock #16 Professional Paste Wax. | ||
