Some kind of driveline problem while driving....

Just started tonight. When I'm on the throttle (even partial) then let off, about 1/3 of the time, something will make a slight "whirring" noise (hard to explain). It did it once when I was accelerating. It sounds like it's coming from the bellhousing. You can BARELY feel it. I took the shifter boot off and drove a little bitjust to verify where I thought it was coming from.

The car sits and idles perfectly (clutch in). It revs perfectly in neutral (clutch in or out).

Help please :cry:

NOTE: I installed an aluminum driveshaft this weekend but it sure doesn't sound like it's coming from back there. Definitely sounds/feels like bellhousing area.

do you have a driveshaft loop? the aluminum' d.'s are larger in diameter than a stocker'..

No loop...

How much larger? Mine came from a 1989 Trans Am and seems very close to the same in diameter.

NOTE: It did it once this morning but hasn't done it again since...oh well, geuss I wont worry too much, thanks.
