Anyone have 077 eagles?Tattooedlife 07-19-2004, 07:49 PM I would like to see a some pics of a car with the 077 eagles on it. Fuels94TA 07-20-2004, 12:03 AM I should have a pic in my web page, but there is a wheel and tire section if your looking for better reply back on this thread. Vinny Camerone222 07-20-2004, 11:28 AM I have the eagles. I like the way they look, i can e-mail you some pictures when I get home from work if you want. Let me know Tattooedlife 07-20-2004, 05:57 PM Yes, please send some pics if you don't care. I've pretty much narrowed my choice of wheels to these. At least this is what my bank account has narrowed it down to. :D What about the finish, I know there polished but do they have a nice shine to them. How do you clean them? I was hoping I could keep clean with soap and water and some waxing. 1995greenTA 07-20-2004, 06:18 PM When i first saw this i thought " who doesnt have eagle 077's " ;) only reason for that, is the only other three lt1 trans am's in my town have them! but anyways, sorry i dont have any pictures, but the wheels do look good, and from what i understand are very nicely priced, but i think they only come in a maximum of 8 inch widths, but i may be wrong, and for the finish, i also thought that the ones ive saw were chrome. Another thing, if they ARE polished, you could order a coating to apply to them, such as zoop seal, so you dont have to repeat the polishing process over and over. hope this helps and isnt a lot of useless information. Tattooedlife 07-20-2004, 06:33 PM for the finish, i also thought that the ones ive saw were chrome. I,ve not seen any chrome ones. The ones I've seen are polished alloy. The polished ones may just be the ones everybody has for sale. What is Zoop seal, where can it be purchased? Thanks alot. 1995greenTA 07-20-2004, 10:11 PM zoop seal is a sealant for polished wheels, you can read about it at www.zoopseal.com, and purchase it there, and can also be purchased at www.jegs.com and www.summitracing.com, its pretty pricey, but i just ordered some tonight for my wheels that were once painted, and now hand polished. i have heard that polished wheels tend to dull after a few months and this is suppost to keep that from happening, so instead of polishing them all the time, i am spending the extra few bucks and doing it right...hope this helps pu12en12g 07-20-2004, 11:06 PM I had some until they were stolen. They look good, but only in the 18" size. http://memimage.cardomain.com/member_images/2/web/206000-206999/206298_998_full.jpg kandied91z 07-22-2004, 01:51 AM i had a set for a short time...nice looking wheel but quality was junk. you get what you pay for though.......just keep them really clean and don't expect them to last long on a daily driver. all eagle wheels are like that though. bozobuttz 07-22-2004, 03:56 AM Check out my 92 Cutlass - the link is in my sig. Theyre the polished aluminum 17x8's with 225/45 Kuhmo tires. Coolformula 07-22-2004, 02:20 PM Yea I had some too not bad, only 8 inches wide though but I did run some 285's on there anyway( min wheel width for 285 technial is 9.5 :D ) remaxracer45 07-22-2004, 08:52 PM I have them on my 97 Z and they are a pain to keep up! Go chrome or not at all! I did pop the centers and put in the firehawk SLP caps and they look nice. Tattooedlife 07-22-2004, 09:08 PM I have them on my 97 Z and they are a pain to keep up! Go chrome or not at all! I did pop the centers and put in the firehawk SLP caps and they look nice. Do you have any pics with them on your car? A pain to keep up? Do they stain or spot worse than any other polished wheels? kandied91z 07-23-2004, 01:20 PM their polish quality is junk....they stain easy but then so does any bare metal surface. their chrome is the best to pick up however the quality is very cheap and won't last very long..... basically you get what you pay for. stang_killa94 07-23-2004, 06:33 PM [QUOTE=pu12en12g]I had some until they were stolen. They look good, but only in the 18" size. They stole yours?!? damn But anyway, They are a very nice looking wheel especially for the price. I got a set of chrome plated on ebay for 700 shipped. DO NOT get the polished ones, they go dull and are almost impossible to keep clean and shiney. If you get them , get them chrome trust me.
