TA vs RX7TA_LS1 07-19-2004, 01:58 PM what would win assuming both are almost stock, maybe small mods a 99 TA auto or a 95 rx7 manual? Grifter 07-19-2004, 02:12 PM Is it a Twin Turbo RX-7? I would say it'd be close, but the LS1 would edge it out. Z28WannaB 07-19-2004, 02:14 PM I know that Trans AM LS1 cars are low 13 to mid 13 second cars from the factory. I searched a database for stock car times and came up with 1995 Mazda RX-7 R2 0-60 5.3 1/4 14.1 the same site said this 1998 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 5.1 13.4 So judging by the information assuming both cars were stock I would say the Trans AM would win. Its very easy to research on the internet. However this is just a guess, there are many other factors to consider when attempting to determine real world performance. - Z28WannaB 97bowtie 07-19-2004, 02:28 PM TA. dabez1 07-19-2004, 03:37 PM T/A will win, but it will be fairly even up until 70mph yellavette 07-19-2004, 08:16 PM All 93-95 Rx7's are TT's Jason Is it a Twin Turbo RX-7? I would say it'd be close, but the LS1 would edge it out. meengreen 94z 07-19-2004, 08:53 PM If its pretty much stock, or atleast at stock boost youll be able to beat it. Grifter 07-19-2004, 11:05 PM All 93-95 Rx7's are TT's Jason Really? I had no idea, thanks for the info. BoostCrzy 07-21-2004, 03:37 PM if the rx7 has full exhaust and an air filter....it will win....if it has stock exhaust and air filter....the t/a will win....and i would say from a dig the rx7 will have less of a chance....i own a 93 rx7 with a fair amount of mods...and my friend owns a 98 trans am....so weve been through this one mod at a time...lol..... | ||
