ok can i get a lt1edit or scanner to look up this code? if not then i know it has to be coming from the rear, bc my passenger side rear axel is leaking fuild...i think its my axel seal, cause i replaced my axel not to long ago but never replaced the seal which i should have...would that cause the ABSINOP light to come on? or would somehting else cause that in my brake system?
or would i be able to get is scanned and find out what the problem is?
please let me know ASAP....
im changing my seals tom...and getting royal purple, and would i need some extra additive or i can just use royal purple?

Your axle seal would only affect things if you had a 4channel system.. Only car's that have traction control have them.. SO i'm guessing your rear sensor is on top of your rear end pumpkin.. Get's its signal from a reluctor thats onthe diff... I don't think you can read abs code's through edit.. I think a Tech II from GM or possibly autozone might be able to pull the abs code's not sure.. Check your brake fluid, too low a charge on the battery will affect it as well.. Check the sensor's behind the front wheel hub's.. Otherwise forget about it.. If you need it.. It's too late!! ;)

im thinking some of the rear fluid could be dripping on one of the sensors back there and causing it not to read!!!

I had my ABS light come on not that long ago..... Try taking the relay out and lightly tap it against something then re seat it. It worked for me for a while but I eventually had to replace the relay. Hope this helps somewhat

the actual sensor is in the top of the rear end.. designed to get WET!...

I doubt it would be the sensors at all. Before I replaced my relay I had checked all the sensors and it didnt change a thing.
