What are all the options out there as far as upgrading the headlights in our cars? A while ago I put silverstars in my stock housings, but one of them just burnt out, so I need to replace it. However, I didnt notice much of a lighting difference, other than the whiter light. So what else can I do? Ive heard of using higher wattage bulbs, but that if you go too high, you can burn out the stock wiring harness. Whats the deal with that? Thanks for any help!

I searched it, and found a few things, but nothing that is extremely helpful. One thing I did find was something about adding a 30amp relay. What is that? Where do you put it, where do you buy one, what does it do?

 

Also, does anyone have any experience with these bulbs?

What are those?!? Did you modify the origional houseings and put in new bulbs or what?

 

use the info in this tread to get the upgrade harness so you can run higher wattage bulbs, and blackbowtie also lists a good bulb to buy
