Well I finally got my 1997 Camaro RS w/ T-Tops and when I took her home she started misfiring... I called the dealer and he said he would either fix it or reimburst me any cost of fixxing it myself... good sport :D .
Anyway I know it's misfiring but I forgot to go and have it scanned, I'm going to do a complete tuneup anyway so here's what I ask... What kind of plugs, wires, ignitition coils, heatsheathing, and boot protectors should I aim for??? Where can I get them too? Oh yes where can I find those boot protectors and heat sheathing and how do I install them???
About how much more total will it cost over stock and is it worth really doing this?

In all honesty, "high performance" plugs and wires and coils and all that really isn't going to make much of a difference on an otherwise stock car. The high dollar ignition parts really shine through on a car with a power adder. But, if you're set on getting the good stuff, Taylor Wires, NGK plugs and MSD Blaster Coils are what i'd recommend. Check out www.thunderracing.com for the plugs and wires and boots, and www.3800performance.com will have the blaster coils.
Pricing doesn't look too bad when upgrading from stock.. the blaster coils are actually very affordable, and the taylor wires are only like $30 or so.

Okay, If the dealer does it I'll probably stick to stock but if I do it, I'll charge the dealer the stock price and put the new modules in...

do NOT get Taylor wires. they are nothing but wasted time and a bunch of headache. they are good conducting wires, but because they are so fragile, anything positive about them is really overshadowed.

Eh? I've always had good results with Taylors wires...they've lasted twice as long as stock. That isn't really saying that much but...they're decent enough.
I wouldn't pay too much for wires...you won't feel any difference from them. I just don't trust stock wires...I've had two sets crap out.
