It's a one off kit... not going to be produced ;)
10psi, and i'm not sure how much power she's making yet.. no dyno numbers until i can get a new clutch.
Stock engine, stock injectors, stock tune.

how does she feel to drive
Teufel Hunden 07-18-2004, 01:08 PM how does she feel to drive
Very smooth performance. I don't know how to describe it any better ;)
Need4Camaro 07-18-2004, 03:58 PM She's very responsive isn't she?...
morb|d 07-18-2004, 04:18 PM looks sick. how much $$$ was it in parts to put this together? did you notice any difference in the handling/feel after modifying the suspension cradle? anything you wish you would have done differently?
keep us posted man. ;)

Offhand i'm not exactly sure what all the parts cost.
The notch in the K-Member actually made no difference at all once we went back and boxed it in and everything. If there is a difference, it's very very negligable.
If i could have done something differently, i would have bought a different wastegate. That's a Mini-gate from Innovative, and they don't even advertize those, so it's difficult to get parts for it.
morb|d 07-18-2004, 08:08 PM is there no room for an intercooler or just wasn't part of the project? also, what diameter rubber tubbing did you use and what type/where could i get it?
Teufel Hunden 07-18-2004, 10:14 PM The intercooler is a front mount, inside the bumper. it's 24x12x3 w/ 2.5" inlets. I'm not sure where you could get the tubing... i got it from a good friend of mine.
JoshMcMadMac 07-19-2004, 09:04 AM That is a very nice setup. But, here's the kicker: are you willing to share in how it is setup, and the design, so that I may be able to fabricate one without having to learn what you have already mastered?
Ellik 07-19-2004, 03:21 PM had you gone to 3" oval piping, could you have avoided notching your K-member?
Teufel Hunden 07-19-2004, 03:30 PM That might have worked out, but even the oval piping would have cost me some ground clearance. The best way was to just notch the K-Member and call it good. The notch doesn't cost me any stability, and the car still handles excellently for the suspension mods i have.
RedHottG2 07-19-2004, 06:40 PM I have to say I'm very impressed...looks sweet :D

What are you doing as far as headers? I'm not much of a turbo guy but are the headers feeding those two pipes, then they feed the turbo. Once the air is inside the turbo, it either goes to the motor, or out that (down?)pipe, and through the rest of the exaust? Is that how your kit works?
Also, do you have even a rough estimate on price for all parts and/or labor? Looking for a project for my little brother's '99. Thanks, and great work, looks awesome. Track numbers coming?
