Patching cloth seat?

Is there anyway to patch a cloth seat without screwing it up? Mine has a cigerette burn on both seats, from prevs. owner. There not very big, but would like them fixed.

What type of cloth is in there? The velour stuff or the tweed?

I did a similar patch on my Sunfire with the velour cloth. Went to a fabric store and got the closest material possible. I cut a small pencil eraser sized patch and glued it in. I didn't work great but it's better than a black charred hole I guess. If anyone has a better fix I'd love to know. :D
