Interesting that nobody has mentioned ZR1's yet in the "everybody-and-their-brother-has-them"-category. ;)

Since I'm just a simple old guy myself and don't want/need anything fancy and the latest styles, to me chrome ZR1's are the way to go. :)

My bad. Too late, I guess... :tired:

Definetely can't argue about the originality, but I'm sure many of us go with the ones they think look good and are not necessarily looking for originality.

Joe, everyone's got their favorite wheels...personally, I'm a 5-spoke kinda guy. Some like chrome, some polished, some back...5 spoke, 6 spoke, 10 spoke...crap that could go on forever with everyone's replies. Hell, I know people that love the salad shooters....go figure.

I suggest you try the "Reader's Rides" link in this message board...it's a link to CarDomain. You can search all the 4th gen cars to see what their wheels look like on their cars and then narrow your search. Wheels are like your personality dude, do some research and see what you like.

Yeah I know rims opinions vary from person to person. I wasn't dowing on anyones rims, just all i see posted in the forum is about vette rims. I know other people have rims other then these but I don't know what they are called or what they look like. Just trying to get some people to step up and show off something else besides the tried and true c5 rims.

I like these rims but if I had cash I would get the http:\\www.iforged.com evolution or aeros. It's under the forged series. That deep dish look is what I like...kind of like pizza.

they are polsihed and they are a pain to keep clean. but i think they look sweet

amen to that...polished definately look sweet but man is it a pain. some companies offer clear coats which deminish the shine by about 15% or some are even offering new perma chrome which is as shiny and bright as chrome but durable like powdercoat.

i particularly like the billet wheels in either 2 or 3 piece from companies like boyd, boze, i-forged, intro, etc. hre is nice as well but many of their designs are exact duplicates of other companies with a different name stamped on them and higher prices.

intro, boze, boyd, budnik are my top choices for quality and price.....if price is not a factor boze, intro or i-forged.
