n2o for my 96

im wanting to put nitrous on my lt1, but i want to make sure the $5000 dollars i just invested into rebuilding the motor dosent go up in flames.. the motor has roughly 5k on it

my set up is pretty much as follows
stock crank
stock rods
30 over speed pro pistons
comp 305 cam
1.6rr intake
1.5 rr exhaust
ported maf
holly 52 mm tb
moroso cai
areomotive adj fuel pressure reg.
walbro 255 fuel pump
lt4 km
msd 6a
hooker lt's (no emissions)
mufflex off road pipe
cutout
and lt1 edit

can anyone tell me which setup will be the best for my this motor and what else i will need to buy

i would suggest the NX single nozzle setup. jet to your liking. as far as safety stuff,fpss,window switch,and Tr6 or autolite 104 plugs.

The NX is a good kit but I went with the TNT plate system and I like it very well. As far as safety goes get a window switch for sure and change out the plugs.

the tnt plate is the better system. anyways exhaust is very important with n2o, i would run a 1.6rr on the exhaust side as well and retune.

How did you spend 5k on that setup?? Any way runing a window switch, low fuel pressure shut off switch and a wot switch should protect your new engine, i think you also want to run ngk tr6 plugs as well.

I saw your post about wanting a nitrous kitfor your 355. I have a 1996 Z-28 that I have a complete TNT F-1 kit ($650 Retail) with NX bottle opener ($200.00), NX bottle warmer ($175.00), MSD Window switch, Fuel Pressure safety switch, Jimmy Jams WOT switch (the nicest you can buy, all worth about $130.00) and a Autometer Electric Nitrous pressure Gauge($210.00). It is all on my car but has only been tested and used on one dyno session. I am saving to build up a 355 Blower motor and of course am going with a blower instead of nitrous. I am going to remove the kit from my car and sell it. I will sell it all for $1000.00 firm if you are interested. This is verything to install and go. Let me know if you would be interested.

I forgot about the TNT purge kit. I will let it gor for $1100.00. I just removed the entire kit tonight. It is complete down to the switches but no wire, which can be purchased at and autoparts store. I have not posted this for sale yet, like I said, saw your post and just took it off.
