I'm looking at getting a set of MT radials for a true street class down here and was wondering if these would fit on my 95 TA (P275/60R15 MT drag radial). I've done a little research and read they are equal to 28's, but I thought that would be cutting it close. Also what rims /offset would I need if they fit.
Any info would be great.
Thanks GS355

I've run 28" Hoosier QTP's on my Formula, and had to move the axle assembly back about 1/4" to keep the tires from hitting the sheet metal of the front edge of the wheel opening. It only became a problem due to growth with trap speeds over 120MPH. My current 28" ET Drags required about 1-1/2" to be cut off the leading edge of the rear bumper cover and they are still pretty close, as least based on a 130MPH dyno pull.
M/T recommends an 8" wide wheel for that tire. You would need a 15x8 wheel, with a 5.5" to 6.5" backspace.
