Grand Prix GXP

According to another forum, this car has been confirmed for 2005. Pretty impressive. I wonder if it's FWD. Anyone know? I also find it kind of odd that this car will get 18 inch rims but the 2005 GTO does not yet appear to have that option.

Yes it will be getting the 5.3L---still a front drive W body car.

No--the producton car won't be 350hp.

But since the GXP Bonneville has 18's--I could see it happening
for the Grand Prix GXP

Yes, the LS4 will end up in the Grand Prix's GXP model. Pontiac is really focusing on making the GXP line a full-out sports car.

I don't know if you realize this but that pic isn't of the GXP, it is the Autocross edition that was made for SEMA I believe. The looks and specs of the GXP are different but they both do use the 5.3 and that is really the most important part.

The car shown isn't a GXP, but since it's basically nothing more than a matter of adding ground effects and rims, it would be no problem putting it into production.

Beyond that, it's nothing that doesn't already exist, short of the 5.3, which will replace the supercharged 3800 in next year's Impala SS & Buick LaCrosse's "sports".

No, it WON'T produce 350 horsepower in those cars.

Now, in a future RWD vehicle(s), that's a different story. ;)
