will i need bigger injectors?

im currently running a cc306 with stock injectors, if i decide to spray a 100 shot would it be a good idea to get bigger injectors? if so how big, thanks~gunter

Depends on the kit.

Wet kit id say no, you'll be fine.

But with a dry kit, id say yes. You will be very close to reaching their limits.

Someone correct me but i believe the stock injectors are only good for 400rwhp or so?

good point, plus most aftermarket injectors lock in the open postition instead of closed, incase they do lock up.

Even with a dry kit, you don't necessarily need larger injectors. The typical dry kit, and specifically the NOS 5176 LT1 kit, increases injector flow by increasing the fuel pressure when you spray. Hence, you still size your injectors for the non-N2O case. As noted in a couple of the posts above, you will still need new injectors, because the stock RP injectors don't like 80psi.

In the NOS 5177 dry kit for the LS1, you may need larger injectors, since that kit simply sprays through the MAF to get the extra fuel.

with the cost of kits, i dont see the advantage to running dry. why not run wet and not have to worry. you can get some steals from racetronix or combination motorsports for injectors as well.
