CODE 54...help

I just went to auto zone and they checked my code and told me i had a 'code 54, which means that the electronic control module (ecm) has detected a fault in the mixture control solenoid (m/c solenoid) or in the related wiring/connectors.'

^^^I have no idea what that means anyway

The code was looked up under a 1985 305 4bl camaro, i have a 350 tpi.......would the codes still be the same?

I did notice that my throttle response hasnt been that great, and my car seems to be running very rich......is this the reason for the code?


PLEASE HELP

i just looked in my 82-92 camaro repair manual and it says a code 54 is something with the fuel pump circuit, not what my print out from auto zone says.........now i'm lost

any help?
