loss of keyless after M6 conversion

It's been close to a year since the m6 conversion and i still can't figure out what happened to my keyless entry. It worked ok until the conversion. I already replaced the battery in the remote and tried to reprogram it like in the manual...still won't work. Are there any wires from the A4 harness that relate to the keyless system? Any other ideas?

That is a kind of weird problem. Check the fuse yet? How about checking the box thingy that the keyless works with and see if there are any problems with the wires. Keep us updated.

The only wiring that would have anything directly related to the keyless entry would be the hatch release wiring from your swap.

yea i fixed that and the hatch release works fine(glove compartment button). I hit the unlock button on the controller the other night and the lights dimmed for a second... i thought i heard a motor noise but nothing happened. All the fuses are good too.

I'm wondering if the whole dang r/c system is screwed up. In the manual, it says that when you jumper terminals 4 and 8 the locks should lock then unlock after a few seconds then you should be able to use the controller. But it did nothing when i jumpered it.

I just thought about something.... in the haynes manual is shows the wires for the keyless somehow connected to the park and neutral positions in the auto trans cars. Maybe this could be the answer? Shoebox you have any idea on this?

Well I think that does make sense on how the locks are connected to the transmission position. Idk why I didn't remember this before but don't the doors unlock when you put the car in park and lock when you put it in nuetral and drive in the auto as a safety feature? I know my father's 99 Buick does that. I don't know how to fix that, except see what the wires do instead of connecting there in a stocker manual. Then go from there.

Then it sounds to me that the body control module may be bad. I would see if you can get your hands on a gm service manual. they have flow charts to help you figure these things out. They are very in depth and you will learn a lot. If you cant get a hold of one pm me and Ill se if I can e-mail you some instructions to trouble shoot it.
