Moving to Florida

I will be moving to Florida In the first two weeks of August and was wondering of any meeting spots or hangouts for fbody/AMERICAN car owners in the orlando area. I myself will be moving to sun key appartments in winter park.

I'll have my fiance post...He has a 94Z...He knows all the places...me and him just moved to orlando from waltham, ma. We are out in winter park all the time...my nephew has an 02 SS 35th Anniversary, and he lives right in winter Park. I will make sure he posts and let you know... :)

yeah i've heard of plenty of nights that they meet...i know the fuelsluts meet at this gasstation on saturdays, uhm tuesdays they meet at sonics off of university...

man sunkey is a nice place, i was going to move in there but it was too much for me....nice choice though..;)

anyways..I am just finding out these places now...we actually were hanging out at a ricer meet on 50, 6-7 Camaros lined up, it was amusing, kids getting tickets and stuff..being stupid.but it was cool, sort of...lol

there is a Central Florida Muscle show every last saturday of the month..that you can cruise to..umm Old town gots some nice stuff...my buddy with a 97 Z is out looking for some places to cruise too..still checking out the places..you know...some places have a good rep for hanging out, some dont.

I hope to be going to school in the orlando area, before the end of this year...When iwent to FL for spring break i was amazed at how beautiful it was and how easy it is to navigate around there. Try bringin your camaro into boston...HA..i love the unfilled potholes, all the dirt, the coblestone roads, the big dig and now the Democratic national convention...which has given me a black out date in my vacation time:mad: Boston was such a swill hole...i never liked it...couldnt live there and i want to get away...

I had so much fun in orlando...the people are nice, there is always something to do and there is NO SNOW:D nothing but shorts and a t-shirt all year....man i cant wait

the only gripe I have..if your from the north is $$$..and especially in Orlando..its all tourist..and tourist companies dont pay much like universal and stuff..low wage jobs. and thats the trend around orlando mostly...:mad:

yeah wages are alot lower down there...now i know why there is so much poverty in fl, most people work 2 jobs just go get by down there. I think i am just gunna play the lotto...and see how that works...lol


Yeah i wouldnt work for universal/orlando any of that stuff, all the employees i saw there looked miserable.

yeah...some places aren't so bad, as long as you have the right connections and experience...

ha yeah they're prolly miserable cuz they're standing in the hot sun in hot clothes...least you get free tickets, i wanted to go work for islands of adventure...woot..

I know for a fact their are more nice people in florida than mass....trust me on this one! :) I love florida dont get me wrong, only a few things i dont like are the way people drive, and how much they pay down here! Thats about it...everything else is great! :)

Yeah I'll definately hook up man... i will be starting at Full Sail at the end of August, but my move in date at Sun Key is August 10th. Should be a sweet time:D

Yeah, well i am trying to become a sheriff down there after finish school and as far as gettin on in mass is a joke, especially if your white. Plus, i want to get out of new england...its alright but..its starting to get to me. I went to FL for spring break, and had a blast and when i came back to good ol logan airport...it was snowing and 30*:mad: And its now July 1st and its a whoppin 75 degrees here, i still wear pants for christ sake.

I know alot of people are moveing to Fl, because down there property is some what reasonable...up here try getting a house for under 300k...its not gunna happen. and that 300k is for a 2 bedroom single floored house. its sad.

when i left my parent's house in maryland a few weeks ago it was 73 degrees with no humidity

i didn't even have to get off the airplane down here in orlando when the wall of humidty hit me at about 90 degrees, and this was just after sundown :(
