Muncie Race night

My buddies and I are going to Muncie this Wednesday to race. Anyone else going? I'll be in a red Z-28 with TT II's and my buddies have: a black LS1 Trans Am, and a Red LS1 Trans Am that has a black primer front bumper. All three of us our 6-speeds. I just wish I could get a good shifter in there before we go.

Hey man, how did you run? I am friends with Curt, CD and Mike. I didnt get a chance to see you run. You have a very nice car though. I have the blue B4C with the hooker exhaust, CC306 cam and Firehawk wheels out back for my drag radials. It was too hot for my car and Im still getting used to driving it. Only pullin 2.0-2.1 60 foots on my DR's. Best I got was a 13.08@108 my 3.23 gears are killin me. Let me know how you ran. Hope to hear from you.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your t-arm man. Thats crazy that it bent like that. My friend RJF_LS1 has pulled 1.5s 1.6s on his stock t-arm. But he has an auto so its not so much of a shock on launch. It was good talkin to you also, I should be up there a few more times this year, but I will probibly only be able to make it on the friday nights. Third shift sucks trying to get to the track and drive an hour and a half back to work. Next time I go up Ill have it tuned and hopefully some 3.73s.

well, it was kind of dissapointing, one high point of the night though was when I beat mike's time in my car.
My best run was a 13.497 @ 106.21.
Long story short, We've got some adjustments to make.
Kurt didn't end up going. CD ran a 12.05 @ 119 with the 150 shot, Lakes ran a 13.1 in his Firehawk, I think that was his best time.
I'm ready to get things fixed and go back though.

I think we got there at about 6:30 the car only made five passes because some guy in the trophy class with an S-10 dumped his axle and tire, and then kept going down the track leaking gear oil everywhere.

Oh that was just wonderful. I only made 2 passed cause I was afrayed of roasting my clutch (damn daily driver). I left at around 8 oclock. Im surprised I didnt see you guys up there. I would have liked to talk to Mike and CD, I havent talked to them in a while. I talked to Curt after I left the track. I guess he decided to stay home and catch up on some stuff.

Yeah a 6.0 would be awsome. Im working on the swap in my IROC. Im kindof at a stand still on it right now cause I found an 89 GTA that is in better shape than my IROC and Id rather have a GTA anyway. Shoot now that I think about it I havent seen Mike sence Jamie Jobes halloween party 2 years ago. I need to swing over your way and hollar at him some time.
