Fuel pressure for nitrous

I'm planning to spray 150 shot, and i'm not sure if, do i have to increase the fuel pressure?, I got an adjustable fuel pressure regulator from aeromotive to replace the stock, but I can't adjust it, the pressure remains at 60 psi. any info?

What you need to do with the fuel pressure depends on what type of system you are running - wet or dry? If wet, what kind of device are you using - TB plate, nozzle of some sort, direct port? If dry, which kit?

Is the Nitrous Works wet kit, and i still can't adjust the fuel pressure, i don't know what i'm doing wrong.

Generally speaking there would be no need to adjust FP when running a wet nitrous system. The correct nitrous:fuel ratio is achieved by changing jet sizes. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

60PSI is probably the max limit for your pump.Set it back to stock,I think around 45PSI and see.The pump won't last long running at max.The NO system will put the fuel there if you have the right jet and it is installed correctly.Most people install a 255 or larger pump when running NO,just for insurance.

At WOT the fuel pressure drops to 38 psi, and I though with replacing the stock FPR, and set it to higher pressure (45-48 psi) ensure a good combustion, but the new FPR can't be adjusted or may be the procedure is not correct, because even adjusting the knob the pressure remains at 60 psi

Sounds like a pump GONE WILD.The reg should adjust to whatever.Got me without being there to see it.Are you SURE you have the reg installed correctly?

Do a "search" on the Aeromotive AFPR.... virtually every post I see here on that regulator is from someone who has one that doesn't work. They seem to work just like yours..... not at all. Appears to be a poor quality product.
