Those who have Nitto's 555R's.....

Just curious what u think of the tire, and did it do the job at the track? Did it shave anything off your 60 foot time? I just picked up a set ofr my 88 Vette. Hope they are worth the cash....

definitely worth it, best daily driving/track tire you can buy. They dont hook as good as BFG's but they wear a lot better

good tire love the way they hook good on the track and better on the street. The bfg are better on the track but dont hook as good on the street as the nitto. Plus the bfg does not last no time where the nitto last a good wile.

Nittos will not hook as good as the BFGs but will last alot longer and in my opinion a serious step up from street tires.
I run mine daily now and they are wearing alot better than I thought they would.

I went from a 2.3 60' with 245/50/16 street tires to a 1.8 with my 315/35/17 555r's.

That was when they were new. If you drive on them all the time the constant heat cycling effects there performance and they lose some grip.

Havnt been to the track lately but i can tell they arent the same.
