okay should i use the manual fuel pump on the block of the engine? or ... should i use the fuel pump in the gas tank?
if i use the manul fuel pump can i just pull the fuse for the electric one in the tank? or is it safe to use the electric pump on a vac. sencondary carb?and just put a block off in the engine pump hole
thanx. jer

If nothing is wrong with the pump in the tank why not use it?

If you're running a carb, you'll need one on the block. The fuel pump in the tank will have too much pressure for a carb.

okay can i just pull the fuse and let the manual pump syphin throw the electric pump in the tank ?........also the pump in the tank was for a 2.8 l engine and the new engine is a 5.7L whats the presure rating for both if you know?

You could run the electric pump ....you just need a regulator to keep the pressure down to around 6 psi. I have a mallory 4 port, it`s been running my car 5 yr`s at least...so no issues with longevity or however you spell that :-)
