Trip to 41 in july?

Hey i thought it would be cool if we got everyone from the the board thats in our area to plan a day to head up to 41 and shoot the $hit and run em. what do you guys think?

Me a few other guys form the Fort Wayne area we maybe come. A sunday would be the easiest for me.

Id be down on some sunday.....but count me out if its the 11th or the 18th

What about july 25th? Last sunday in july? That sound good?

nice, my friend dave and dan will come two, one has a 383 stroker LT4, and the other is kinda stock, but thats no matter an F-body is an F-body!

I have a friend who might be buying a 96 ta mostly stock.....if he gets it im sure he'll come also.

Edit: He just came over and showed me it (he bought it) Its a 95 trans am with a borla exhaust, Under drive pullies (he thinks, last owner wasnt too clear) ,and tuned by a hypercrap tuner. Sounds nice and looks pretty sweet as well. I talked to him about going and his response was "hopefully I will have more done to it by then" so sounds like a yes.

Sounds great, i have the day off tomorrow so i'm going to fab up some brackets for the spare tire well. Should be up and running by then. So i'll get new times :-D

what mods you got done silverstreak?

I have a HPP(POS), B&B Tri Flo cat back, K&N FI PK CAI, 3.43's in back, Shift kit with red friction plates, Just installed/installing my NX Wet kit. By the end of the summer i should have headers. plannning to spray a 100 shot

how about whom ever gets there first just park somewhere where there is room, then when you get there start parkin near the F-bodies :-D

arg, I probibly wont be able to come, thats my day to close. And the only person who I can switch days off with is on vacation that week.

i wish i could man, unfortunately leaving 270 employees in a store with no manager is a BAD IDEA. And both of the other assistant store managers are off that day. not to mention there would be no one there to open/ lock doors.

My church isn't on the race track.Count me out.

I'm going to church :-) then i'm going out. and your only 10 mins away from the 41 exit... but you should get off on calumet, because 41 exit on 80/94 is closed. So after early mass, it's race time :-)

What time does everyone plan on being there? Us Fort area guys will be there around 9:30-10 in the morning.

Well i was going to leave my place around 10. so i'll get there about 11:00. Just did my plugs today, put in the TR6's for my spray, i'm trying it out for the first time on sunday :D

what time is this starting and how long is it going for? Will there be a tech? I want to run cheater slicks but dont have a driveshaft loop.

I'll be trying my bottle with the stall for the first time also.

Test and tune is from like 9-1, and then 1-4 is bracket and test and tune. I went about a month ago and there was no tech for street cars to pass. :)

lol tech at 41?????? dont even worry, there is basically no tech, and what there is, is just a joke. In my car they check under the hood breifly then check for helmet and fire extinguisher and thats it lol.... not really a tech inspection

I would imagine kinda late. 8ish maybe? for sure it is till at least 4. I was going to leave after church which gets out around 11. Just woundering which denomination are you?

OK guys here is the deal. For Morocco, Indiana(US 41) on Sunday(and saturday) is partly cloudy, 75 degrees F which is around 24 degrees C for all you metric fans, 10 percent chance of precipitation so we have good odds...knock on wood.... UV index is 9 so pack the sunscreen :cool: . max humidity is going to be around 63%.

Me, ltwonz, and an older nova will be there around 9 or 9:30. Maybe a couple of others that are not sure if they're gonna race or not.

I'm comming, with 2 camaro's for sure, and possiblely another camaro and a t/a.

yep nice meeting you all, some pretty good weather and I ran a new best of 13.651 at 101.87 mph, so I'm happy. Silverstreak, goodluck on getting your nitrous working....let us know what times you run when you get it working good. Camz383 that is a pretty sweet ride you have man.....I wish I had me a 383. I think I'm gonna go to m9 if I can, so we could prob meet up there if any of you are planning on going.

If you check out the Michigan/GreatLakes/Canada fourm, M9 is a sticky post. The event is held in Michigan, and about 3 hours if i remember correctly from the indiana/michigan border. I'll start a new Thread in our board to see if anyone else wants to go.

Im not sure what his name is, but someone told me he has full boltons, full suspension, weight reduction and like slicks....stock cam, heads......and he is running like 12.5's.......damn good.

$hit, I forgot all about it! I got wrapped up at the car show @ VSI and ended up staying all day. Didn't win anything either them f#$*!^ ricers with BIG stickers were winning. How does a ricer with tints, blackouts and rims beat a awsome 68 Camaro with a 427 runnin 10.15's I cannot figure out. wtf is this world coming to? Anyway lets get another day setup so I can meet some of you and lay some rubber down the strip. :cool:

hey all, this is the guy with the black 93. my mods consist of a cc503 cam, hooker LT's, elec. h20 pump, midwest 3400, tci valve body, ford 9 inch, QA1's, and BMR. completely stock unported heads, stock throttle body. you guys left kinda early. i finally made a pass on the juice and went 11.2 with only 700 psi bottle pressure!!! hoping for 10.90's next time out with some good bottle pressure and adjusting the suspension a little more.

Shady- Who has done the tuning for your car? It seemed to be a very impressive LT1, I hope to see it run again sometime.
