Got some new pics of my car in current form and thought I'd share . The front conversion I did a few years ago , but since then added the GS wheels and painted the rear valance between the tailpipes flat black . Also the whole interior is new . The goal was to be totally changed form my stock 95 interior , but still look factory stock . I ended up with a complete take out 2002 ebony cloth interior , ditched all the light grey pontiac switches for black ones out of the camaro ( yes anything that was backlit does light up red now ) , 97 guage cluster with digi odo , 2004 Vibe in dash 6-disc cd changer radio and amp ( alot of work there since its a double din radio . I had to clearence the dash , make custom mounts and I also had to make the radio opening in the factory bezel MUCH larger ...kitty hair to the rescuse :D , 2004 Bonneville steering wheel ( you do have to change the upper shaft to use this wheel and yes the radio controls I did get to work correctly with the new vibe head unit ). I mainly did the steering wheel because I wanted a wheel with a thicker rim that looked stock , the rim on this wheel is really fat and makes the rim on the old wheel feel like gripping a piece of string . Changes are subtle but it TOTALLY transformed the interior .

That TA just looks gorgeous. First thing I thought was that it was very sexy. I thought about buying a WS6 before I bought my 35th LE.

Fantastic job, particularly on the interior. The Bonneville steering wheel is a particularly nice touch. Is the airbag functional? And, I like the Vibe indash 6CD. Tell us more about installing this headunit. Did you have to rip out the Monsoon speakers too, or was this a plug & play install (apart from actually getting it to fit in the dash, of course). Again, :thumb: to you!

Thanks for the cool words :)
Brent - Roll bar is a Wolfe . 3 attempts at them shipping the right one but they kept sending me a coupe bar:mad: . Then when they FINALLY got me a vert roll bar it was for a LS1 car , floor pans are different on the 93-97 and 98-02's where the main hoop mounts , so we just fabbed the LS1 bar . I wasnt about to ship another one back .
wu6fiend- Air bag doesnt work . Mine have been out of the car for quite some time now for weight savings , the car itself is pretty gutted :D Cool thing about the new airbag and steering wheel , well a major plus ....is 1 - the steering wheel is 4 lbs lighter and 2- the inflator on the new airbag was not incorporated into the airbag cover . Sooo , I could just unbolt the heavy inflator and not ever have to worry bout the airbag ever falsely going off . The headunit was cake for me , Im really good electronics and fabbing . I used a 04 vibe radio connector pigtail and spliced into the factory wires . My car is a 95 so it didnt have monsoon . I ended up replacing ALL the factory speaker wire cuz I had to run outputs of the headunit to the vibe 6-channel amp and then on to the speakers . I made a new factory style harness and mounted the vibe amp under the passenger seat . A lil extra work ....yeah . But , the amp and the headunit only cost me $120 of ebay . Im running pioneer 4 ways in the sail panels and infinitys in front with factory monsoon tweeters .
SVT03- Dude I was on the fence to about it . As I was sanding the rear bumper I was like man this better look good :D I dont regret doing a bit now , I like it ALOT better .

Like what you've done, it looks good. But I don't really like the steering wheel all that much. Just my opinion though. I think one of the retro old school ones with the 3 spokes in glossy black would have looked better. But aside from that, very nice job!
