People tell me I'm skinny (no specifics though, because ladies don't do that)... but I'm just learning to race so I don't think I'd be able to help you out much. Joesmooth 09-23-2002, 06:56 PM Its a race shop called skinny kids racing AutoRoc 09-23-2002, 07:00 PM I'm sure they have a website:D Call em up if you need one of them 25.1 thingamabobers:) lol Victory Racing 09-23-2002, 08:09 PM Ok I think I have what you are really looking for. There is a place called Skinny Kid Race Cars. They build a lot of Pro 5.0 and Pro Stock type cars from the ground up. Basically they are specialists in tubular 25.1 chasis stuff. There site and the caliber of their work can be seen here http://www.skinnykidracecars.com/ cASe SenSiTive 09-23-2002, 08:24 PM Nick D has it right. Skinny Kid is the best race-car shop in the midwest. PurpleHaze95 09-23-2002, 09:28 PM Originally posted by Joesmooth Its a race shop called skinny kids racing :o *laughs at self* OH!!! Obviously I've never heard of them! What the sam hill kind of name is that anyway? cASe SenSiTive 09-23-2002, 10:36 PM Originally posted by PurpleHaze95 :o *laughs at self* OH!!! Obviously I've never heard of them! What the sam hill kind of name is that anyway? The owner, Keith, is pretty skinny. Simple as that.:) AutoRoc 09-24-2002, 12:53 AM I got to see that Outlaw 10.5 car of Dan Millen's at a local shop a few weeks ago:eek: Whoooooooooooha! Dolby109 09-24-2002, 02:29 AM A race shop? Hardly...they do some tuning, but not all that much. Most of their work is converting trucks to "pimped out" lowriders, with hydrolics. They do good work, but not all that much performence stuff. Although some of them do know a bit about performance, and can point you in the right direction. I wanted them to install a cutout for me, and they couldn't even do that! WTF? Still they are cool guys. They are located on that road that connects Corunna to Cinema 10, and the mall...right by Wall Mart. Go down there at like 8-9pm on a friday, and you will see lots of trucks with 20" rims parked on the lawn...thats the place. cASe SenSiTive 09-24-2002, 10:10 AM Dolby, I think you're confused here. We're talking about Skinny Kid Race Cars. They build race car chassis for professional drag-racers. They are definitely a race shop. This skinny kid kustomz that jello is talking about might be what you're referring to. But they have nothing to do the the real Skinny Kid.:) | ||
