Friday night i went to the local TNT. Well, the guy who went before me was leaking fuel all the way down the track. They stopped us from running for a little bit while they supposedly cleaned it up. I get up there to race and i take off fine with no problems. I shift into second and my car immediately redlines and the back end shakes loose. My car starts fishtailing back and forth about 7 times and i came within about 8 inches of hitting the wall twice. At one point i think i was completely horizontal because when i looked out my windshield all i saw was the wall but i was able to swerve back the other way. My car eventually came to stop and everyone in the stands was applauding. It felt like i hit a patch of ice out there and was very scary. I am lucky I was able to get the car back under control without wrecking. After i circled around the people at the track were like uhh sorry we didnt clean up the mess good enough and then random people came up to me and were like man that was a nice save i thought you were going to wreck for sure. Anyway, i was just a little irritated but of course i am still going to race out there. Oh and also my quarter mile time for that run was an astounding 30.72 @22.7 mph:)
