Going back to college. Whats good to go for these days?

Well I have a ass. :) degree in Marketing. I have a great job right now.. pays between 35-45k a year,(not to bad for just turning 21) but I feel like there is more out there for me. I am going to 86 the job. Currently working as an Assistant Manager at an Industrial and Construction Supply Company.

I am going to go back to NorthWood University in Midland and probably persue a major in Automotive and Aftermarket Marketing. Its a business school.

Is this a good thing to get into these days? I always like cars...kind of a passion. Im sure everyone on here does...

I will tell ya what Joe. Study and major in what u love doing. I don't care what the pay is, if I wake up every morning going "God I hate my f-cking job" then it wasn't worth it to me. I love my major and what I do and I usually look forward to going to work. Its fun there and I enjoy what I do.

In all seriousness, I agree with the above post. Do what you like, no matter what the pay. If you are truly happy and doing something you enjoy, then all the money issues and other things will work themselves out. Make yourself happy, and money isnt always the way to do that. Marketing is a good start, that is what I took. I love sales, dont think I could do anything else and be as happy with my job as I am. Good luck, at the very least, kudos for going back:bow:

Automotive aftermarket? 90% of the biz right now is probably involving neons and wings... I don't see the trend ending soon.
