I'm mostly done w/ one side of the LS1 brake swap. The brake hoses that I'm using are Russel brand for an LS1. I used a vice grip to adjust the bracket to a position that allows the line to extend slightly farther, but it's still not enough. With the suspension full extened the line is taught. If the wheel is turned, with the suspension loaded, the line becomes very tight and won't allow full movement of the steering. In order to work, the hose would have to be another 1-2" longer.
How are you guys gettting enough hose to allow full range of movement in the steering and suspension? Any ideas would be helpful as I need to have the car running again ASAP.
Thanks!

I used the stock LT1 lines and bent the mount, and their was plenty of reach on the lines. Maybe the LS1 lines are shorter, or possibly you have the wrong lines?

Stock LT1 lines and bent the bracket. Reach was a bit snug but not bad. Remember, you are not very likely to see a situation where suspension is at full droop and the wheel is turned right to the stop, so a wee bit snug is acceptable. You don't want any real strain there for sure.

we took a hammer to mine, didn't have to bend completely down, maybe little more than 45 deg
